I like that the 'dead fish SWIM' rather than float.

This quote immediately made me think that the only reason (as I understand it) that fish swim up stream is to mate.

Don't get me wrong there are worse things to do with ones time but there must (?) be more to life than sex and death. BUT then thinking about it this is actually what we boil down to.

Are our lives so gloriously futile? I guess good sex is a major bonus in the merry-go-round hence the salmon taking great pains to reach the top of the river. And it is also true that persons with 'drive' are generally very attractive.

I have a habitual line in pushing boulders up mountains but little good it does me.
